Hey looters! Happy (slightly belated) 2026. 🎲✨
Instead of a confetti post two weeks after New Year's, we wanted to give you something more useful: a real update. Yesterday (Jan 17) was my 36th birthday!
Scarlyt: We missed the 2025 target — here’s where we are
Last year we shared that Scarlyt was aiming for a mid-to-late 2025 launch. We didn’t hit that window.
That one’s on us — and we’d rather be transparent than quietly let the calendar flip.
What we can say confidently:
- Scarlyt is still very much alive and moving forward.
- We’re focused on doing this the right way: solid gameplay, clear rules, and artwork that celebrates independent artists.
- The Scarlyt site is pointing toward Kickstarter as the next big milestone.
As soon as we can share firmer dates (and what you can expect at launch), we'll post it here and send it to the mailing list first.
Dungeon Loot in 2026: more community, more loot, more consistency
We're also recommitting to showing up more regularly with updates — even when the update is "here’s what we learned" or "here’s what we’re building."
